Danny Watkins was a failed experiment. McNabb was a guy who gave us some great years and never quite got it done.

My biggest problem with McNabb his that he consistently comes across like a thin-skinned sissy momma's boy. His mouth alienates him from more people than his overall performance.

He was the Michael Jordan of the NFL when he was breaking ankles with moves on db's and throwing bazookas.

He was understated ... well spoken ... everyone in Philadelphia was splooging about him.

The consensus in the NFL was the Eagles were a legit one at receiver away from multiple Super Bowls.

He was a franchise QB ... and one could say the same thing about Ken Anderson, Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, etc. that you say about him not quite getting it done ... but nobody does say it about them nearly as much.
