I think he will be deactivated a lot out of the gate. Read mclanesarticle today. Kelly you can tell isn't loving where he's at. Spoke to him not making plays and being lost out there.

I predict we make a trade for DL help with Sanchez or maybe RB depth.

IF we would trade sanchez and thats a big if, it has to be for a defensive starter only.

What about Mingo from Cleveland? He's a 3/4 end right?

They have a lot if talent on D. Their running backs looked average this far. We have proven QB they could use and RB depth. Swap need for need.

Sanchez is much better than Hoyer and manziel. And with their D tey need to think "win now". Hoyer stinks and manziel, to me, looks like he is goingn to be a complete bust. No way he will survive taking the hits he does and he just isn't accurate or strong armed enough to stick. That's my first "eyeball" test assessment of him. I would be worried if I took him that high.

            My guess

8...I think they reached and this kid is bigger project than they need right now.

next year he will contribute..but don't see anything spectacular.

I also don't think we trade anybody....keep Sanchez.

I think they'd welcome winning now, but I don't think they need to think that way. Outside of Whitner and Dansby, the main contributors on that D are all younger. Haden has just entered his prime and they just drafted Gilbert. Mingo is in his second year. That D will be ok for a few years.

This year should be about developing the O for them. If they can get Gordon's head screwed on straight, and develop Terrance West as a starter they have the makings of a good offense with Gordon, West, Tate and Cameron.

I think Mark Sanchez only takes you so far. Personally, I think Johnny is going to be a player in the league, he's just not there yet. If I'm them, I don't worry about this season at all. Let Hoyer start, bring Johnny in after 8 or so games and then look at next year as a real chance to compete.

I wouldn't trade the marginal success Sanchez may or may not bring you for the potential Mingo brings to the D or that another pick might add to the O.

              Just my opinion.

This is the thing that pisses me off the most, especially when I watch MARSH. Why get cute with the draft?

                  Marcus Smith...wow...

I was kind of surprised at how bad Manziel looked. His throwing motion is strange. Everything was a duck and nothing was on target. I really wish the Cowboys had drafted him.

That brings us back to how Howie said they were focusing on bpa and not reaching for need. After the draft they said pass rushers were at a premium. Uhhhh.... smells like graham over Earl Thomas all over again. Reaching for pass rusher when bpa was also filling a glaring need. Howie shit the bed when no got cooks.

Howie is getting dangerously close to being on the RAJ level.

I wouldn't go that far YET.

RAJ drafted horribly. Howie's drafts haven't been world beaters but they've had some ok picks.

RAJ doled out horrific deals to aging vets. That's a Daniel Snyder move. Or Banner in the Dream Team year. Howie has been relatively quiet in regards to throwing big money to older "names"

Howie's first head coach hire was Chip. RAJ's was Sandberg. I give the advantage to Howie there.

Don't get me wrong, Howie could very easily end up Ruben level bad, but so far, I think he's been average.
