They are there for one reason eye candy and the coaches usually are not ignorant to them and will talk where a man repoter they can just brush them off.

The networks should just eliminate the on-camera coach interviews while entering/exiting the field. They are awkward, clearly uncomfortable for both and nothing interesting ever comes from them. Waste of airtime.
