  • who here didn't want Sanchez?

I seem to recall it was divided at the time. Man up!

Personally I had my doubts...any backup has weaknesses, or he would be the starter. But I thought he would be an upgrade over Vick and was a good signing.

I think being here, all he has to do is play. In NY it was Rex, a QB controversy, the butt fumble, the matinee idol-Namath comparisons...just a lot of BS to put up with. But you gotta like the kid's ability and credentials.

Anyone who lives in the NYC area and saw Jets games when he had a good OL and running game would be pretty stupid IMO to think he wouldn't be a significantly above average backup QB.

He never threw the deep ball that well, but he can play the intermediate/short game.

he has one more pick that TD's....

Who the heck wouldn't want a guy nicknamed the Sanchize?!?!?

I gotta admit I didn't want to see another USC QB with so much promise and talent that couldn't perform at the NFL level.

And must also now admit that I love him as the backup and feel very confident in him if something happens to Foles. Chip can adjust and plug people in as necessary. I also feel like he made Foles look better maybe than what he is...But verdict is still out there. This season will tell much of what I need to know about Foles (hopefully if he stays healthy).

It's not even a tell tale stat.

His rookie year he had more ints than tds (well, no shit, he was a rookie) and in 2012 he did (when the OL and run game fucking sucked).

The middle two years he didn't.

And he was hurt last year.

There's a little more context, huh?

Better playoff game winning percentage than Drew Brees, Dan Marino and Roger Staubach.
