Sitting around doing nothing all day, I started watching Breaking Bad for the first time. This guy Tuco is a terrific bad guy. Terrific. Got me to thinking about movie/tv bad guys. No, Jack Nicholson in Departed doesn't come close and Anthony Hopkins doesn't make the list because his character has totally jumped the shark.
Orson Welles, The Third Man. Oozes class and wit and criminality.
Gary Oldman, The Professional. Hysterically funny and over the top.
HAL9000, 2001. The emotionless assassin.
Lee J. Cobb, On the Waterfront. "You want him? You can have him!"
John Travolta & Samuel L Jackson, Pulp Fiction. Sort of bad guys.
Michael Madsden, Reservoir Dogs. Crazy.
Ralph Fiennes, Schindler's List
That dude that was the liquid robot in Terminator 2
Anton Chigurth, No Country for Old Men. Call it.
Jack Nicholson, The Shining. Don't know if he was technically bad.
Robert DeNiro, Cape Fear (remake). Creepy dude.
Jerry Sandusky, PSU. Wait, that was real life. I think.
