Bombastic Bushkin's new book on Carson has an interesting section on the whole Joan Rivers to FOX affair. Joan really didn't want to do it, but she kind of got played by her husband Edgar and by FOX. Joan being a survivor rebuilt her career, but Edgar was destroyed.
