    Maclin blows his horn.

    And people say DJax was self-centered.

    Might have been open all day but I didn't see it. Some drops and the wide open catch that Kelly gets most of the credit for.

    I'll be surprised if he's on the team next season. Obviously overrates his value.

    The Birds win their home opener and the guy catches a bomb of a TD pass and this is what you want to post about?

    So the guy has an ego, most talented WR do. So what.

    And no, I dont think his comments are a shot at Foles, which is where you are going with the thread it seems.

      He was big time open early on a similar play to the TD, either first or second series I think. He had a decent game, but this conversation needs 16 games to resolve.

        How many yards did the 10mil dollar man have, don't look 62. Everyone knew he could play just don't think he can stay healthy. If could ever stay healthy he is a better all around receiver them mesean, not the deepest threat but does everything else better.

              Maclin was open on other plays.

              More importantly, Foles should have thrown to miss high on the INT in the endzone ... or was that Celek's fault in not fighting for the ball?

                that was all foles. he under-threw the ball. needed to put it in the back of the endzone and soft tossed it.

                he was like a pitcher trying to aim his pitches intead of just throwing the ball.

                  It's all Maclin wanted to talk about. No comment intended by me on Foles at all.

                  Yesterday they won a game they should have won. Never got to a point that I was worried about it. Jacksonville is a bad team. Not much new to draw from it. I like the new kicker.

                  Looks like Dallas and Washington are also bad teams. Could be a cakewalk in the division.

                      Kelly made the same point this AM. You need to invest in super expando TV or better glasses.

                          You should cite the question he was asked. If he's asked how he felt he played in his first game back, there's absolutely nothing wrong with his statement. If he's asked how the D looked in the 2nd half, then you can say it's an ego thing. Nothing bad or terribly selfish was said.
