The only reason they put him at ILB this week is because he showed good coverage skills in the preseason.

You're definitely right about Matthews. Smith would have to be a special kind of terrible for me to want Matthews in the game. But I still hope they can do some things, disguise the defense, etc. to keep Smith from getting out there on an island in coverage and hopefully use him as an interior rush threat.
