Cooper is a top WR in this league and it's time to exploit his greatness.

That's funny, board vet

It's a shame, but Tebow handles it with class. The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is - Winston Churchill

True, BUT all of those players were before this seemingly "don't offend anyone" politically correct world that we find ourselves in.

Tebow has been "blackballed"
Originally posted by RileyMakeMeSmiley View PostTebow is much more polarizing than any of those guys and has masses of followers.
And how in the hell would anyone know if Tebow wasn't great or not? He never got another opportunity after he threw for 316 and 3 touchdowns against a great Steelers defense in the playoffs.
Elway finished 4-6 as a starter that year. He threw seven touchdowns, 14 interceptions and completed just 47.5 percent of his passes. Elway also had one game-winning drive during that span, something he'd become known for during his career.
When you compare the two player's stats, there really is no comparison.
In 10 starts, Tebow has 14 touchdown passes, six rushing touchdowns and four interceptions. And perhaps the most intriguing stat considering how much he's been scrutinized about his passing, Tebow has a higher completion percentage at 48 percent.
Some players just don't get a real opportunity and we all know why Tebow has been black balled. The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is - Winston Churchill

I realized the OP was trolling when this thread was started, notice the second post.
My reply was to EIO, so I will ask you a direct question, so you Don't think that society is more PC than it was 20 years ago?
Now who's trolling?

Okay, board vet

I already gave you Elway's numbers compared to Tebow's in their first 10 starts.
Don't let facts get in the way of your trolling, though. The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is - Winston Churchill

It amounts to the same thing, and in these times, the NFL wants to stay as plain vanilla and as out of the spotlight as possible.
