Foles has been pretty bad on deep throws, I do think that Cooper has some skill when it comes to tracking and coming down with the deep ball. That being said, that's his only real skill (besides blocking), they have tried to give him the ball in space on short throws/screens and he just doesn't have the explosiveness and elusiveness to turn them into anything.

Edit: and he drops TD passes that even he admits there was no excuse to drop.

Elway finished 4-6 as a starter his first season. He threw seven touchdowns, 14 interceptions and completed just 47.5 percent of his passes. Elway also had one game-winning drive during that span, something he'd become known for during his career.

When you compare the two players stats, there really is no comparison.

In 10 starts, Tebow has 14 touchdown passes, six rushing touchdowns and four interceptions. And perhaps the most intriguing stat considering how much he's been scrutinized about his passing, Tebow has a higher completion percentage at 48 percent.

Now, compare Elway's stats to the league average that year and then Tebow's stats to the league average that year. People said Elway threw one of the best balls they had ever seen, while Tebow had one of the ugliest. Also, look what the Broncos started doing when they got a real QB in there, rather than a guy who somehow won a game with 2 completions.
