McCoy took himself out of the game?

    WTF?

Cataldi heard this from Kelly on the radio this morning and didn't press for a clearer reason than "he (McCoy) rotates and he knows Sproles can play"?

Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

I'm kind of torn on this...On one hand, you want your best player to want the ball in crucial situations, but on the other hand, if McCoy realized that he's not playing well and Sproles would give them a better chance at burning off the clock, that's a positive.

With his play so far and some of his actions, I'm fully expecting a DeSean-esque smear campaign this offseason.

      Shady's "no mas" moment?

Frankly, I was happy to see Sproles in there. For whatever reason, Sproles seems better able to run between the tackles than Shady right now. Or more willing.

I must say, Angelo Cataldi was very good in that.....

...interview this morning. He can become irritating with some of the buffoonery, but then he has those moments where he's really asking great questions and following up on the answers so well.

Ok ... what did he get Kelly to tell him as to why McCoy did what he did ... aside from that stupid non-answer?

I said it on here 4 weeks ago, Sporles just hits the hole a lot better than Shady does, not to mention with the oline banged up the "holes" are a lot smaller. I would like to think once the oline gets back to health Shady will be on top again.

McCoy looked ok when they started running him between the tackles later in the game.

I heard something interesting on the radio on the way home about how Kelce is so fast that he is the key to the outside runs and screens.

Foles under center and Shady running more "downhill" to get him going. The zone plays offer too much opportunity to dance and try for a big play. If he can start accepting 3-5 yards a carry going straight ahead, he'll end up getting on the safety one on one, and he'll break some long ones. Just a thought, but it could build his confidence up...

While were are on the subject I have to wonder, when Foles does his handoff a lot of times it seems that he (Foles) is looking right at the Defense coming right at Shady.

I thought he had the option to pull it down as some of those runs he was wide open in the flat, just an observation.

And yes I know he fumbled on his lone run yesterday.

Johnston was making that point on the broadcast for much of the game.
