This team needs the bye week. They are Team Baling Wire right now and won't show up on Sunday.

4-2 going into the bye week is okay in my book, and if they split the two next games on the road, they will then be in position to make a run when they get the OL and LBs healthy.

What's to me zaniest about the Eagles now is

the difference between us feeling more warm and fuzzy versus feeling like you've basically expressed about holes in the team is ONE fucking play.

If Foles slides like just about every other NFL QB would have in that situation, the Eagles win in a cake walk.

For me it's a combo platter of poop. I'm not looking at the past games, and gladly will take the wins (and really the officials did a good job giving the Niners that game). I am looking at the future and predicting a blowout on Sunday. Don't want one, I just see it happening.

They actually did start to run block ... McCoy showed some signs of life and wouldn't have taken himself out of the game ... and we are not looking so carefully at warts, particularly in the secondary, because playing prevent would have been irrelevant if they put that game away when they should have but didn't because of that brain fart dive.
