Eagles need a legit number one (and two) WR badly. Matthews may step up as the 2 but the Birds would be foolish to pay Maclin next season

And I know that because I've been watching him play ... not because of some stat.
He is also getting better, stronger, tougher, if you will, as the year goes on, he seems to bounce up better after a tackle than he did just a couple of games ago.

Maclin hasnt been doing poorly, passes have been shit.
I do wish hed go up and fight for some of the poorly thrown balls more sometimes. Hes watched an underthrown ball go right to the corner but, maybe thats too much. Big receivers make plays out of mistakes.
Either way, hes getting open a lot, Foles just needs to step forward and throw. Foles is getting flushed out and moving around a lot. But even when hes not hes missing some throws (wide open matthews on a crossing route right in front of him - McNabbd).Last edited by TGOLD; 10-08-2014, 08:47 PM.

Maclin is a better WR than Harvin and aside from the ACL tear, he's been more durable.
The fact that you think the best way to improve the team is to cut the only proven WR on the roster is mind boggling. That or you're just doing a bad job of shit stirring."If I was racist in my opinion of QB's, I wouldn't have a dog named Donovan." - downundermike

Recognizing Maclin as a low-end number one is hardly controversial.Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship
