When Maragos partially blocked that punt, why was it not a live ball?

I thought it was a live ball. No one on the Eagles touched it I thought once it got past the line of scrimmage.

i just don't know the rule, so the receiving team touched it, but the Giants couldn't recover it unless an Eagle touched it AFTER it crossed the line of scrimmage?

I don't know what you mean by "live ball" meaning that the Giants could have recovered it?
The Giants could not have recovered it because it was only touched behind the line of scrimmage. The Eagles could have picked it up and advanced it like any other punt though. They just didn't.

I mistook what the op was saying. Live ball as in the Eagles could have returned it, which is pretty obv.
