  • New York Daily News IS in fact full of DOUCHES.

The writer of this article is a total a$$hat.

    http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/fo...icle-1.1972078

Missanelli went too far, but the guys in the photo have been wronged in a serious way by this article.

Maybe the writers should have focused on how the rest of the Giants didn't show up to friggin' play at all instead of trying to bash hard-working employees celebrating a dropped touchdown pass. This is disgraceful.
"I don't think there's anybody in this organization not focused on the 49ers... I mean Chargers."
    -Bill Belichick

"People think we make $3 million and $4 million a year. They don't realize that most of us only make $500,000."
    -Pete Incaviglia

He's a shock jock. Pretty tame stuff for someone of that ilk.

And that was just a dumb point for the guy to make on the picture. I doubt those guys were celebrating because Cruz was hurt.

It was a stupid tweet from a loudmouth jerk off - and his backtracking attempt was weak. He's a sanctimonious, blithering idiot of a sports host, not a shock jock.

I do agree with your second point. Clearly, they were cheering the dropped ball before the severity of the injury became clear.

Dude, shut the fuck up already.

The thing that bothers me the most is how you consider yourself an expert on EVERYTHING and feel the need to share your wisdom on every goddamn subject.

I could care less if a random hick from TN wants to cheer for the Eagles, but youre constantly posting comments about how Eagles fans should feel, what the media thinks of "us" and shit like that. As I said last night, you don't get all of this, and you never will.

If Reggie White's first NFL team was the Buffalo Bills, you'd be a "diehard" Bills fan, so don't take your fandom too seriously.

A radio host from Philly and a paper from New York. You live in Knoxville. You have zero interaction with either but that doesn't stop you from posting your two cents.

Please just go to Pravda and stop posting here. Pravda is much more your style.

I usually don't care about our fans reputation and the "woah is me" reactions; but the fact the Daily News printed that out of context, knowing that the Eagles employee could get fired for it, is pretty crappy.

My hatred for JDugg aside, I agree with this point.

I don't think that would happen. There's no way to prove the employees weren't responding to the end zone drop - which I think is what happened. The stadium grew much quieter very quickly once the situation became clear.

I don't think anyone with a brain can accuse Eagles fans of being anything less than respectful in the aftermath...Missanelli aside of course

"Even for Philly, the tweet is a new low"

I just get sick of any NY media outlet trying to perpetuate the myth that their fans should have some sort of moral highground compared to Philly fans. Our fans do tend to be a little more edgy than your average fan, but that can be said about all the NE corridor fanbases.

Disingenuous to say those two in the back were celebrating Cruz's injury. I do think Missanelli was. For a guy as smart as Missanelli is, he really says and does some dumb shit about once or twice every year.

Yea, don't mistake my lashing of Missanelli as a defense of the NYDN article. Utter garbage. Even the typical Giants fan knows that article was horses hit, outside of the lowest knuckle-dragging denominator breathing in the fresh Jersey Turnpike air

I see more Giants fans resorting to Steelers fan behavior - pulling out the "how many rings have you won" line to divert attention away from their wretched performance last night.

The article described him as a shock jock. Their words, not mine. If you're going to call someone a shock jock, then his comments are to be expected.

Not necessarily true. White was a Packer when I started watching football. Coincidence really that one of the greatest Vols played for the NFL team I started rooting for.

yeah, well they were just wrong about that. He's a sports talk host, and far from a shock jock.
