Yay, someone was likely unnecessarily killed!

Taking the keys out of the car and thwarting the escape while alerting the police would have been too non-violent. Laying in wait to grease the fucker in a public place was clearly the way to go.

Can you imagine how satisfied that guy feels to have killed someone? Jesus, I'm getting a hard-on just thinking about it.

I don't feel bad for the robbers, but the shooter should have called the police and left it there. I'm pretty sure any police officer would agree with that. It would be a different story if he shot them while they were endangering someone else's life.

Even in Hammurabi's world a robbery didn't result in a death sentence, just a lost limb and that system of punishment has generally been considered barbaric for quite sometime.

Maybe you should move someplace where the death sentence, especially without a trial, is more readily accepted across a multitude of transgressions.

Actually, I was wrong. Robbery did result in death according to the Code of Hammurabi. Ahh how we should all long for the times of ancient Mesopotamia.

I'm not sure why the robbers had time to go back in the bank, empty a purse and come back out, but it may be the shooter took the keys, called the cops and was waiting for them when the carjack happened and only then went Wyatt Earp.

So, in an effort to be the vigilante hero he helped to risk the lives of others.

Had he not taken the keys they would have had no reason to go back into the bank and empty the woman's purse or confront the pickup's owner. His actions are what gave the armed robbers a reason to confront others after their initial crime.

Fucking brilliant.

And someone still ended up dying over this when it would have been more likely for no deaths to occur if he had alerted the police and provide detail regarding the robbers.

He really saved the day.

Tell me what's wrong about what I said though. The primary reason these guys targeted the driver and vehicle that led to the heroic shooting was because the hero took their keys.

That's just simple logic. You should be able to set your watch to it.
