So is what Im hearing true? The Allman Bros have played their last show

on the local new broadcast they said they played the Beacon theater for the last time ever 2 nights ago... I seen them around 28 times,,,when Dicky Betts left the band I kinda stopped going to see them... guess Greg felt it was time to retire.....wow so much good music,,,1st time I played whipping post on the bass I was so proud of myself...:D

Last shown with Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks. Not their last show. They will play again.

This band is better with Warren and Derek than any incarnation except for when Duane was in the band

hope your right,,but must keep more informed....Personally I don't think they have been the same W/O Betts, I like Warren Haynes he's good met him a couple times.,,everything changes..I had a close friends band open for them in 71 at his college,,,he used to brag like crazy..shook Duane's hand, Barry too,,lucky bastard..
