  • Did Ryans get his foot caught in a seam?

I heard that the grass at that stadium is made up of panels and Ryans' foot was close to one of the seams when he got injured. Ryans denied it had anything to do with it but still I'd like to take a closer look at that play.

I thought the same thing. In pregame Merril was describing field conditions and had concern with the turf in that end of the field. Just an odd injury no matter how you slice it. One of worst possible losses they could've suffered IMO

Ryans said the field didn't have anything to do with it.

I noted that in my original post. But I'd still like to take a close look at that play. Ryans may believe it had noting to do with it but it's not like Ryans was looking at where his foot was when the injury happened.

Barwin said it was the exact same spot on the field where he blew out his other Achilles when they were both on Houston a few years ago.
