I'll always love college hoops - it was my favorite sport to watch growing up - but I have to say, the whole one and done thing has really hurt it IMO. There's no continuity in the programs anymore. You have to learn a brand new team every year. I think the quality of play has suffered. The most fun teams to watch, for me, are the middle majors like Wichita State, that have played together for a few years.

I've gotten way more into the NBA as a result.

Yeah I don't think one and done has helped at all. Without it you'd still have guys leaving early but now it feels like players are just being rented from the start.

I agree. That's why I kind of just follow the coaches on the National level (Billy D, Beilein, Bo). I wish College Hoops would do what College Baseball does; go into the draft after HS or commit to 3 years. That'll never happen though.

At the Rams gayte, we had talked about going to a Temple game and doing an Igglephans gayte.

            That should definitely happen.

Let's drink whiskey and go to the Pavillion Dec. 14th. That will be the Temple gayte.

Are we worthy to enter that building seeing as we didn't graduate from God's Gift To Academia/Athletics?

I thought more players would go overseas with the 1-and-done rule but it hasn't really happened. If they were to force 3 years I think that could very likely become the norm for premier talent.

Well, assuming the NCAA doesn't start compensating athletes monetarily and/or de-coupling from academics.

                      Cool man, thanks.

It's a good thing UNC didn't cheat you guys out of that title too!

of the mess in Bloomington. I'm guessing a lot of these people who are complaining that TC has lost control of the team would quiet down if they win 20 games. Which doesn't appear likely this year. Although this Blackmon kid looks like a scorer.

Disaster. Crean has lost control. There's no reason why they shouldn't be fielding a top level team every year. He'll be gone soon if things don't change.
