sunday night game parking

Making it to the Dallas game this year with some friends. Does the parking lot really only open about five hours before the game? I think I read somewhere on here people were getting in more like six or seven hours early for night games, but honestly not sure.

Some of the lots open 5 hours prior. The Wells Fargo (where we go) should open at 1:30 PM, like they did this past Monday.
