Really not trying to be Anthony about it

We need an up the field runner at RB McCoy plays like he's in Madden, very frustrating

How shitty the offense would be without Mccoy? It doesn't matter what kind of numbers he's putting up. Opposing defenses always have to game plan and account for him.

Take away Shady and defenses can focus on the pass a lot more. That's why Foles/even Sanchez to a degree have been able to put up the numbers they have. And, in part, that's why Shady's numbers have been so down. CK's been taking what the defenses have been giving him.

Just sick of seeing him dance around and not hit the holes.. Even on passes he dances too much.. He looks like he is only going for home runs and not the 5 yards we need

Also I pissed when I posted this last night..

This is a great narrative that people like to say, but I don't think anyone actually realizes how untrue it is.

Maybe I've been watching different games, but when Shady is in there, there aren't many holes for him to hit. As has been said, the opponent is willing to take him away and let the pass game try to beat them. Are Sproles and Polk hitting the hole better? I don't think they are, I think they just actually have holes to hit.

Not to mention, if Shady wasn't trying to make something happen when nothing is there, if he would just fall forward for two yards every play like you're suggesting he should, then the narrative would be "Shady has lost it! Why won't he try to make his infamous cuts anymore! I hate how he's willing to just settle for one yard!"

You maybe right Sect, I don't know? But I will tell you this, even he was pissed that he couldn't shake ONE tackler in the open field, he had nothing but green in front of him, and I think if this was last year, he scores on that play.

He's always danced in situations when it seemed a more decisive move would be better, but this year he looks less aggressive, slower and not as powerful.

I would not be surprised to find out when the season's over that his toe (or something else) is worse than they're letting on.

The play he slipped on the turf? The turf hurt a lot of Eagles yesterday.

True, and I am not sure why, as it was mentioned, their turf is the same makeup as our turf?

Seems funny he can run like a deer being chased by a pack of wolfs on the snow, but not on that field?

Slag's right, something is just not the same.

Go back and watch the Giants again. He was all over the field and acknowledged this was one of the few times he has seen a traditional 7 man front

It was also, "the giants"! Don't get me wrong, I am also NOT pinning this all on Shady, but the O line is pretty much back to full strength,(or at least a lot closer than they have been), and last year they flat ran over people, the holes were ridiculous, not this year. why?
