What about Rams' fans who aren't Christians or simply dislike public prayer?

Using that argument they shouldn't take sides and avoid praying while in uniform on the field if they want to stand for ALL Rams' fans.

              you bombed first. Okay good.

I keep my hands up in the air when I bang your mom doggie-style while she moans, "don't shoot it in me...don't shoot it in me."

Then I point at my reflection in the mirror and say, "Look batch, no hands!"
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

Notice that he kept his socks on. All players know not to take your socks off. It makes them think that you are going to spend the night.

celebration is much different from protest

Bullshit. Anytime any player does something on the field other than play football, there is a likelihood that members of the fan base disagree. Not everyone likes TD celebrations. Not everyone like players wearing headphones. (Actual complaints)

Off the field, plenty of fans don't like what a given player tweets.

If you're going to argue that players need to cater to all fans, all they can do it run, catch, throw, kick and tackle.

Clearly that's ridiculous, although the NFL has tried to limit expression by players. Protest is as valid as celebration if it has no effect on the game.

                            nonsense

how many fans are going to hate their team's player for pointing up or making a quick religious gesture after scoring a TD? Ridiculous comparison.

So it's a matter of public opinion. Ok, just say that in the first place. You said represent all fans. Now just the ones that are OK with things you think are ok seem to require representation.

TD celebrations and prayer are OK because most people don't care or aren't offended.

Socio-political statements are not ok because more people aren't ok with it.

That's a quality Animal Farm argument but it doesn't really fit your initial statement where you said all fans.

You missed the entire point of Francessa's argument (remember, it wasn't mine, I just said it seemed to make sense). He said when players are in uniform (again what they do off the field should be held to a different standard), they shouldn't engage in a protest or other such behavior that will offend a large percentage of their fans.
