You can't blame them for asking, but there's no chance in Hell he'd go. He's tied for the best record in the league right now. People don't take demotions when they're good at their jobs.

Nothing in the history of football would piss me off any more to see Chip leave the Eagles for the fucking Gators though.

I don't want to lose Chip but Florida is the only place I would like to see him go. Of course it's only because I'm a UF alum.

From everything I have read Chip could care less about the money/benefits, he'll move on when he has nothing else to prove.

It would just be Philly's luck he will win the SB and then announce he's going to coach H.S.

His name is going to come up in these every single year. Might as well get used to it.

He's not going anywhere until we win a SB. if and when that happens I'm sure we'd be ok if he went back to college. But I think he likes the pros better. Doesn't have to recruit and worry about violations, boosters, speaking engagements, and radio shows. Myers he can just be a mad scientist in his office 20 hours a day and break down film etc.

I guess I'm just cynical. I don't think he'd leave unless he doesn't like the NFL process and dealing with the business side. Like I said, he'll have these options available to him for as long as he coaches. I'd like to think he'll finish what he started.

Chip will be replacing The Head Ball Coach at South Carolina when he leaves Philly. And Musgrave will be the Gamecocks DC next year.
