Haven't played a desert course yet but heard there are some that have a lot of rattlesnakes if you go off the green areas

I played a course like that in Vegas and they posted the rule on signs and on the scorecard that any ball that went off the rough into the rocks and shit was a free drop.

They did not want you going into the snakes.
