  • Here's the only positive I saw yesterday

The defense played GREAT until they were gassed from being on the field all day. If the Eagles convert a few of those third downs and give them a blow, they actually have a chance to win that game, IMO.

Of course Seattle's defense had a lot to say about that. They are finally rounding into the same defense we saw last year.

I give Billy D alot of credit here,,personnel made the diff here.

think about it..if we have Ryans for this game...Kendricks would be the Spy and Barwin would be in on the pass rush...since Demeco is out,,Kendircks had Lynch and Connor had to just stand there,,effectively removing our Best pass rusher.

Problem is really the defense did not lose the game yesterday. The offense did not do enough. Even if you had Ryans I don't think the offense would have done enough.

        Agreed..

I posted earlier that 25 yards per qrt is not going to get it done. Leaving your Defense on the field for 40 mins is laughable..

was just pointing out how its really a personnel driven league,,the trickle Effect. Ect....

All I'm saying is that's actually the best I've seen the defense look all year...until they got gassed. The offense did zilch, no question.

Something interesting did just come up in Chip's presser.

The Eagles D gave up a number of 3rd and long conversions to Seattle's O yesterday. The Eagles O could not convert a 3rd and long at all.

Yeah the O sucked but the D looked the best you've seen? They gave up over 100 yds just in the first quarter. Couldn't get stops on key 3rd downs. Looked more like the D against the pack to me, exception being they didn't give up as many points.

Except the Eagles D gave up a first down to Seattle if it was 3rd and 11 or longer every f'n time...uncanny.

The Front 7 minus Fredo is fantastic.

Trent was pissing me off by not staying in his assignment.
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

Fredo has actually been playing ok. Not great but as how you would expect a backup to play.
