Oh, I thought maybe he saw coop telling Sanchez he WAS lined up correctly as THUTB? But then CK said Coop was lined up right.
So REALLY it was Sanchez trying to throw Coop UTB, got it?

I think he's referring to the "dink and dunk" statement that was actually more a focus on the Eagles playing against more zone this year than an indictment of Sanchez's noodle arm.
The headline is misleading because Cooper also commented on how Foles was getting picked off too much because the long ball isn't there.
You can agree or disagree with the concept that zone stops the long ball, but Maniac appears to have fallen for the headline and didn't read the entire article carefully.
Cooper may be full of shit about zone stopping the bomb, but Coooper didn't say the Eagles were dink and dunk because Sanchez doesn't have a big arm (like the reporters validly argue).

I gotcha now, so let me expand, if zone is taking away the long ball then where are all of the seam and crossing routes? Personally, those long balls are still there, the QB's (either one) just weren't getting the ball there.Last edited by Eagle Road; 12-10-2014, 11:06 AM.

I think some reporter is trying to make something out of nothing, Coop never threw him under the bus, unless you wanted Coop to take the blame for a poorly thrown pass, even Sanchez said it was a brick,
The statement by Cooper appears to throw plenty of blame at his quarterback, who struggled against the Seahawks, completing 10 of 20 passes for just 96 yards passing. Sanchez agreed it was a bad throw.
"I missed the landmark to Coop," Sanchez said. "I just missed it. I was kind of flushing forward and I didn't get everything that I wanted on the ball. It was just a bad throw."
I really think at times you are putting waaay too much thought into your hatred of Cooper.

Cooper said specifically "He threw it". That goes into under the bus territory for teammates. Not a comment I've heard from many wide receivers before about bad throws.
Credit Sanchez for taking the blame and not getting into whether Cooper should have tried to break it up.Last edited by Maniac; 12-10-2014, 02:02 PM.Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship
