they are big fans of the NFL

the pro bowl, Mante Te'o, Samoans, Tongans...the Hawaiians take a lot of pride in the Pacific's strong ties to the NFL. Most of the fans I spoke to were Frisco fans and they were quite knowledgeable about the Eagles. There are also a bunch of fake Dallas fans and hate for Dallas!

I gotta post a pic I took at world famous surf spot Wiamea Bay, near where I was staying. I walk up on the beach....and in addition to all the surfers I expected to see...are about 50 guys tossing footballs around and playing barefoot beach pickup touch football!

I feel more nervous about this game than Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was just pure excitement....Too much anxiety with this one for me. So much on the line and the NFL has been completely unpredictable this year. I expected more of a Dallas nose-dive by now too. Sanchez is certainly serviceable especially as a backup but I don't feel like we are firing right now.

I think a couple factors playing into what you're talking about. One of those factors is that last Sunday was sobering for some. I think people have finally gotten a feel for what this team is about. A good team but not ready for the big boys. The short turn around for dallas v2 this year is too short. Hate has to ferment and fester properly. I myself will always have hate on demand for that sack of shit of a franchise and it's cockroach fans. Fuck them.

Gotta say, the most memorable part of the visit was the Arizona Memorial. That was the one thing I wanted to do and I'm glad I did even though it is quite somber. 900 heroes down there. Thanks for your service too, Big.

That side of the island was actually blacklisted to servicemen, locals there are just not fans of us being on their islands..

Because they played them 2 weeks ago

Fans are still down about the loss to Seattle and whether the season is really over. The 3 division games left may not matter if the team gets thumped in the playoffs. I want the team to pull it together to win the final 3 games and build momentum because anything can happen.

Exactly. We now know this team is NOT elite. They are gonna be stuck in no-man's-land the next couple of years. Good enough to win a few games, but not good enough to play with the big dogs. Plus it also means it going to be tough to get an elite QB with where we draft. The Sixers are avoiding this in the most hilarious way possible. Only hope is if Foles somehow improves greatly.
