  • Maybe Foles can be a decent NFL starter

We pretty much know Sanchez is not a decent NFL starter.

But I don't think we know that about Foles.

Im pretty sure Foles > Sanchez.

As has been stated QB is not the biggest problem on the Eagles.

Question: Do you re-sign Sanchez as a backup for next year? I don't think he's going to get a starting gig at this point, although I could be wrong.

They have to add a QB next season in case Foles craps out.

So Sanchez or Barkley must go. I suspect Chip will keep Barkley even though he's shown nothing.

      Hopefully Matt can come along

I was not happy when we signed mark..Personally I think Vick was a better backup but Chipper didn't want the all pro breathing down Nicks neck,,just sucks Nick had to get hurt long term,,2 or 3 games would have been no issues..

last year GB lost Rodgers to the same thing, but their Div was a Joke. this year they are looking pretty good. One can only hope Nick has taken this time to keep learning.

His arm is worse than Sanchez, with even less ability to read a defense....practice squad, clipboard holder only.

Even if Foles is fine, the odds of a starting QB playing all season are not very good.

Sanchez is a one year deal......I'd say chuck Barkley and look of a replacement.

QB and secondary help is critical, and LT is not far behind..Peters is not getting any younger.

No way I'm resigning mark Sanchez. Zero percent chance. He stinks. Period.

              Cannot run Kelly's O.

No, I doubt Barkley can run it effectively. The backup (or maybe starter) isn't on the present roster.

I'd find somebody who is a free agent or in the draft, genius.

You want that asshole back after the past month? I don't. He is dog shit.

If it was my team genius

I'd roll the dice that fooles comes back to 2013 form, keep Sanchez as backup (no one seems to remember he ran the O almost flawlessly in the first dallass game) and go all in on D backfield and a field stretching WR. If Fooles caps out, then worry about QB.

That would be fucking moronic. No surprise that's how you'd do it!

Sanchez is gone. And should be. He can't play. Foles we will see but doubt he's getting a big extension after 2015.

Foles is going to be a very good NFL QB, but he has to stay healthy, as do all QB's.

I really don't see Foles "staying" healthy as that big a concern, the only reason he is out now is because he was pummeled for 6 straight weeks.

Most other QB's would have packed it in after the hit he took in Washington.

Very true, but if the Eagles do plan on him being the guy they better get the OL sured up.
