  • Confidential to blame-assigners

too many holes on this team...some worse than others but even the better ones are still holes.

In the grand scheme I cant blame Sanchise...he's a backup and we are 3-3 with our backup and probably going 4-3 with our backup.

Also, I have to be honest...as a big Chip guy, the coaching has been horrendous , and I dont mean playcalling or leadership, I'm talking getting them ready to play. All those mental errors are on the coach as well.

It's amazing how far the've come with one of the worst secondaries in the NFL and injured starting "QBs" on offense and defense.

Not even considering the positions that could stand to be upgraded, they have plenty of terrible should-be-backups starting -

      At CB1, CB2, SS, ILB, RG, and WR2 to name a few…

you nailed it. In a league dominated by the passing game, to have nine wins at this stage of the season with those stiffs is beyond amazing.

Sanchez is not immune to criticism when he can't even make a play "my grandma" could make

              of course he's not immune

but he's only in there because of injury and in the big picture a backup, shitty or not, going a seven game stretch at 4-3 (assuming Saturday) is not the main issue.

I have to agree with Slag, it's true Sanchez isn't the only problem, but he also isn't just any backup QB either.

He was hyped in college out of a ranked school, he was paid big money in a big stage city in his last gig, he has a lot of starting/playing time, along with playoff exposure.

More than enough to make a couple of those throws, to just say he is a "backup QB" really isn't correct.

How quick we forget it was only 6 weeks ago that EVERYBODY was worried that he might leave for a starting job somewhere, remember?

                    for the horrendous loss

it is spread over much of the roster and coaching ranks.

Overall I think the team is moving in the right direction.

Now, people are apologizing because Hot Hand is the "backup" QB". What a difference a couple of weeks make.

All week I was telling local Eagles fans that I wasn't bumming leading up to the game because Hot Hand.

...Zero confidence that he could keep his amazing Hot Hand going.

I didn't expect Sanchez to be "hot hand" ... I did expect him to be "competent hand" ... and he wasn't even that Sunday.

No. Let's see this thread where EVERYBODY was afraid Sanchez would leave.

                              No blame to defensive backs?
