I don't think they're close enough to go on a spree. I think they need to get some Jenkins type players in FA and see how they do in the draft. I shudder when I write that...

Of course some will draw parallels to the alleged Dream Team, but every spending spree does not have to suck that much ass, look at what Denver did this year for instance. If you get guys that fit what you are trying to do instead of fitting square pegs in round holes (Asomugha and DRC come to mind), then it can work. I'd say cut Sconces along with the other guys you mentioned. Restructure Ryans with Cole and Celek. Torrey Smith, Revis, and Rahim Moore would all be instant upgrades that wouldn't break the bank. Could make a run at Justin Houston or Suh, although he'd have to transition to end, but Cox showed that it's possible. Maybe add a guy like Dan Williams at the nose. Focus the draft on defense as well and the Eagles could contend. Doubt you can get all those guys, but getting just 3 or 4 would be huge.
