Cooper and Maclin on ridiculous contracts would be a worse situation. Look at the production they got from Matthews this season. You can draft a replacement for Maclin. You can find a replacement for Cooper at an open tryout.

Since it is less likely for a playoff team to loose a key FA, M Crabtree seems to be the best available from a non playoff team. Are some of his numbers inflated by opportunities due to Kaepernick's scrambling ability?

How would Crabtree perform with a statue in the backfield even if that statue is a more accurate passer with higher football IQ?

I like Maclin and hope he stays. Since there is such a drop off from #1 to #2 here, we don't want someone else to have to come in, learn a new offense and develop a rapport with Foles.
