I know it's far-fetched but it just seems like the kind of we're smarter than everybody else thing that Howie and Lurie might come up with.

Another part of me thinks that this is just the typical off-season drama the Eagles pull to keep people interested in them during the off-season. They are just starting early this year because they didn't make the playoffs.
