What's even funnier is Dallas fans claiming the outrage is because people hate Dallas and not because it was a horrible call.

First, they just ignore the original defensive holding near the LOS. Second, they claim the actual PI wasn't PI because the pass was bad (it wasnt, was headed for Pettigrew's chest) and because the defender didn't touch him (he absolutely did).

I've also heard "Dez shouldn't have run on the field, but it was a bad call, so if the refs make the right call he never has to run out there. It's their fault so they shouldn't penalize Dez!"

Sorry dude, all of this is irrelevant if the ref doesn't reverse his call. Now the only explanation for the reversal of the call is that the ref realized that if the call were to stand Detroit has a first down deep in Dallas territory and that would lead to a likely TD.

Dallas is out of the playoffs if that call stands. And that just couldnt happen for some reason.

The reason the call couldnt stand is simple; the game was a sham.
