Let's just say I have a very close relationship with some high up in the facilities management industry.
Prior to 9/11, Aramark Corp. held the concession contract for the World Trade Center observation deck and did a fine job. After the Trade Center was re-built, everyone in the industry assumed that Aramark would be awarded the contract just on it's past, excellent service. Then, out of left field, the entire industry was shocked when the contract was awarded to Jerruh's Legend Company.
Much like last Sunday's game, in spite of all the puzzlement in the industry no explanation of the award was ever made.
As a side note, Legend has an extremely poor reputation in the service industry.
Strange that this has never been investigated by anyone.
