  • Pat Chung gets 3 year extension w/ Pats...

Chung, the 34th overall pick in the 2009 draft, was mediocre at best during his first five seasons in the league. He was drafted by New England and spent his first four years with the team before going to Philadelphia in 2013 and coming back to the Patriots this season. Chung started 15-of-16 games, recording 85 tackles, seven pass breakups, and one interception. He graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 12 overall safety, finishing third against the run.

That's what playing with Revis, Browner and McCourty will do for you.

This is the reason I don't really want Byron Maxwell.

Agree this is the reason I would like to see McCourty be the a big Eagles free agent signing

Wow, I found that impossible to believe. when Chung was here he was the worst S I had ever seen. It seemed he would close his eyes before delivering a hit. Therefore much too often the hit would land on his team mate!

Not only is Chung ranked higher than Nate Allan, so is Kurt Colman (KC).

Jaiquan Jarrett has the same rating as Allen!

Allen and Charles Woodson (OAK) played by far the most snaps among FA Ss

Pat Chung is the Nate Allen of Boston

they drafted the guy,,want him to be more than he is,,and are giving him a contract for what he did this year. Rationalizing like the Eagles, we can't get much better for the money right now!
