An as enjoyable to watch bad team as I can remember. Props to Brown for having them ready to go just about every single night. Props to the young guys (aka the entire roster) for buying in. They stink but they're watchable. Some of the young guys are showing flashes which is good.

Imagine front court with twitter superstar Joel embiid next season?

What a find Covington has been, huh? If they're trying to build Spurs East, he's their Danny Green.

Embiid is so much joy to watch, and all he's doing is tweeting and cheering on his team. When the guy starts playing, it's going to be great to see someone that talented be that excited about playing the game of bball in Philly.

I think I've watched about 90% of the games this season. I've always been a big Sixers fan, but this is the most games I've watched since AI in his prime. The media and uninformed fans can blast Hinkie all they want, but I'm WAAAY in on the tank/rebuild.

I jumped ship to the home team when we moved to pa a few years ago. One bad team to another but at least the sixers have promise.

They just make some of the most bone-headed, sloppy mistakes I've ever seen. If they can cut down on turnovers and sloppiness, they are going to get better.

Covington and Noel looked great last night. MCW kinda stinks. I would trade him for whatever someone's willing to give.

I'm torn on MCW. A little inconsistent for my taste but he's young. Not sure what I think yet. He goes back with Noel so there's that fwiw.

I like Noel. He needs to improve but he plays hard and he's always around the rim. He'll get stronger, too.

I think MCW will eventually be traded. The guy makes Eric Snow's shooting look like Steph Curry.

Him always trying to force shots is one of the biggest problems with the team. Last night it seemed like he realized he didn't have it, started distributing the ball a bit, and the results were positive.

Maybe he just needs to have guys to get the ball to, and Covington and Noel having solid games enabled that. If that's the case, I'm willing to give it another year, but I'm definitely not a fan.

Yeah he forces way too many bad shots. People say shooting can be learned, I don't think that's necessarily the case. We'll see.

Brown and Hinkie are right at the forefront of the "shooting can be taught" crusade but even still, I agree with you, MCW isn't in their long term plans.

Noel would look even better if he hadn't blown 2 dunks. Shameful! But he did knock down a couple of jumpers which is what is going to be important for him going forward.

In all seriousness, though, they are fun to watch and will improve significantly on both ends of the floor if Embiid can be healthy, even if he isn't the next Olajuwan. A center with mobility that pushes Noel to the 4 gets them more quality looks in the post and, in an ideal world, means MCW is hoisting fewer boneheaded shots.

MCW the pass-first PG would be just fine. MCW the shooter/finisher, not so much.

In a couple years they'll have Embiid, Noel, MCW, Covington, McDaniels, Saric and at least one more top-5 pick, plus a couple more from the middle of the first. Even if they don't end up being any good, it'll be an enjoyable journey.
