A misleading stat. Would missing the playoffs completely be better? Or winning a wild card game and losing in the divisional round?

I think it suggests Manning was over-rated. I think I agree. Great qb's aren't supposed to fold like a cheap umbrella against good defenses. Not saying he was a bum or anything, but I think Brady was better

Personally, I think winning more first round games than you've lost would be the best option.

Good for Peyton, he's a hell of a stat stuffer, but he's just not that special when it matters most. He'll go down as one of the top 10 QBs of all time, and with the bloated regular season stats he has he belongs in that convo, but he's not in a Brady or a Montana's league.

He's 2-1 against Brady in conference championship games, 2-2 in the playoffs. Ever since the Patriots really started relying on Brady to win games rather than merely manage them, they haven't won a Super Bowl. I don't think Brady is head and shoulders above him in the playoffs considering Manning does have a ring.

But, Peyton has had a chance time and time again to definitively shut the detractors up and couldn't manage it. Winning just 1 ring isn't going to be enough for him in the minds of many when Brady got 3 early and Eli fluked his way into 2.

I should have known better than engaging you. You and the rest of Vols' nation enjoy telling each other how great Peyton is, I'm bowing out of this one.

What do you know about Vol Nation, you war-shy Gypsy bastard? (I saw your thread about Peaky Blinders, so I couldn't resist paraphrasing it)

Manning was easy money. Colts at +340 was a good play and at +9.5 was lights out.

McNabb has as many Super Bowls as Brad Goebel
