    Truth

  • #2
I kinda feel bad for the kid. He had a great college career, played good (not great) in the national title and got beat by the better team and now he's going to get trashed by media and fans.

Its not his fault Oregon runs the offense they run, or that he is projected to be a top pick or that fans like to make up impossible trades to trade for him.

It's not just him, it's the nature of the draft process (see Bridgewater, T.) it just seems kinda shitty we do it as sports fans. I'm not pulling a Ref Ref either and acting holier than thou, I've done it too.

I have no idea what he'll end up being, his talent is undeniable, maybe he falls to 20

I think if he entered into Chip's offense, with the skill players and OL the Eagles have, he'd be fine. If (when) he goes to Tampa, Tenn or the Jets, he's not going to do much of anything.

In his defense, not many QBs can do much of anything with the Jets.

I agree playing on a team that can properly utilize his skill set could make or break him. Steve Young would have been considered a bust a forgotten footnote if he didn't get out of Tampa Bay.

Agree with Sect... Will be as good as his offensive coordinator is. He would do big things in philly, let alone McCoy... Teams couldn't just stack the middle. They would have to respect mariotas legs and playmaking ability off the run

That he still has some work to do when it comes to managing the pocket. Great talent though. I'd take him in the frst round.
