  • Anyone catch the Belicheat news conference that just went down?

I didn't but the reactions on twitter are hilarious. Sounds like Bill was pretty desperate and ridiculous.

Got a text from a friend in RI that said "Bill just told the league to fuck off. Nothing the league can do it about it, Pats just proved they didn't cheat with science. This is over."

I was so shocked by his delusion that I couldn't even respond.

Bill made a My Cousin Vinny reference.

And he can't explain why nothing changed about the Colts' balls. I can.

I told my friend that maybe Aaron Hernandez should tell the judge that he didn't kill anyone, that the weather did it.

How 'bout his claim about the gauges?

Something like: There can be differences in gauges, too.

I also enjoyed: My players tried to tell the difference in .5 lb and 1 lb reductions in air, and they were not too good at it, so...

I would have asked: How about 2 lb. reduction in air?

I was half-expecting a Jame Gumb drop-the-cards-and-run-downstairs, but then I remembered he is Belicheat and is McMahon's BFF.

Enough of this phont bullshit already

Why is this a national issue?

                Let's take a look......................

Does the Today Show ever talk football? Nope, but it sure did this past week.

How about the news whore Brian Williams and his Nightly News? They reported on Defaltergate EVERY night this week; and THREE TIMES it was the LEAD STORY!!!

Now.........what network is televising the SB? If you somehow managed to come up with NBC, then you'd be correct.

What a steaming pile of crap!

I have no idea. There hasn't been any statements one way or the other.

Eh, I know the Mrs. is a Pats fan, but they're dirty dude. I agree that perhaps this particular incident is being a bit overblown but after spygate I can't feel sorry for them.

That the colts balls didn't change? All I seen is the colts balls were in regulation. Those are two completely different things.

That's what I'm saying. 11 of 12 of the Pats' balls fell drastically so as to make them "illegal." They allege that it was due to weather. Yet none of the Colts' balls experienced the same drop.

I've heard the argument from Pats fans that Luck likes the ball at the high end range, meaning 13.5 which is why the Colts balls didn't show up as illegal. If the weather caused the Pats balls to drop 2 PSI down to 10, then in theory the same weather should have dropped the Colts balls down 2 PSI, which would be 11.5, which would also be illegal.

If the Colts balls stayed in the legal range, are they saying it was colder on the Pats sideline?

If the temperature change to a reported 51 degrees at kickoff from "room temperature" created this big a difference, why haven't the Packers ever had this issue reported?
