If it's true. At this point, everything is a smokescreen.
If they re-sign Sanchez like some have speculated, the smoke becomes thicker.

Enrico how about improving a sad defensive backfield, getting a NT that does what a NT should do. Oh yeah and having an OL relatively healthy, and your starting QB healthy the entire season and winning the Div the Conf and going to the super bowl to energize clueless writers like you Enrio and the part of the fanbase that are clueless.

Wonder if the Rams would take Cooper too? That would be cool.Blue Chip College Football - Coach Your College to the National Championship

You're still on this nose tackle thing? Every analyst, fan, Eagles' front office member and Eagles' coach thinks they're good to go with the DTs they have. Let it go man.
You take it as some kind of personal insult when people don't agree with your vision for the Eagles draft. What mock draft version are you on now? Version 20?
Also, I'm pretty sure Enrico didn't hear you.Last edited by Sect 236; 01-26-2015, 03:44 PM.

Is Nick Foles really worth enough at this point to take the sting out of the number of picks required to move up that far? Is he worth more than a high 2nd?
I assume the team would require Nick to sign an extension as well. Why would Nick agree to that unless he really wanted to play there. In a year Nick might have an opportunity to go "home" and play for the Texans or nearby Arizona where he played college ball. Those teams have better defenses than the birds. He'd certainly make the Texans a better team and possibly a playoff contender.

Ph
Keep thinking the NT position isnt a problem personally I cant wait till the find a true dominate NT. They cover this using the an OSLb to help much of the time ending up with essentially a 4-3 alignment.
Doubt they will have a shot at Sheldon or Goldman maybe at 20 most likely would have to move up. Rather they take best available CB or S in the first round, then grab either Philips or McCarthy in the second round --- third round back to the d backfield there will be some good Cbs availabe == Shaw USC is one that comes to mind.
Logan and Cox DEs one of those big boys in the middle to occupy two blockers --- and apply pressure -- Philips and McCarthy have the tools to be a dominant Nose Tackle == Curry and Thornton rotating in at DE and Allen Nose back up
They need to cut Huff, Maehl, brad Smith, Fletcher, Willams. Restructure or Cut Cole, Ryans , Herremans
Restructure McCoy if he is willing he seems open to it
Sign Maclin, Graham,Sanchez, Thornton, Polk - go after safety.McCourty and either McPhee or WorildsLast edited by iowaigglefan; 01-26-2015, 06:33 PM.

If you think taking a tackle in the first round over CB or S is a prudent move, I can't help you. I don't know what mock draft site you're stealing this opinion from, but I wish they would change their mind so we don't have to keep reading you calling people idiots who think QB is potentially a problem on this team while simultaneously telling us a widely recognized strength is a weakness.
Edit to add: I guess it's your Madden mentality that tells you that you have to have a player "ranked" in the 90s at every position to be considered complete.
A rotation of Logan, Allen and Curry at tackle is perfect for a team that puts their D on the field as much as the Eagles do. They have a group of talented players at tackle that they can rotate as the situation dictates. I'm shocked I'm having this conversation with anyone who claims to comprehend football.Last edited by Sect 236; 01-26-2015, 06:54 PM.
