Hey, my daughter's high school is closing (MD Prep not RBC). Sad day but not unexpected.

Double whammy! I drive a Nissan!
"Hey son, sorry I missed your entire life. Check out my pimp new ride!"

The use of Chapin in that spot was criminal. Who could be so easily manipulated by such vacuous, soulless dreck? Who, I ask?

Didn't Chapin die in an automobile accident on the Long Island Expressway? Who would be moved by an ad for a vehicle intended to be driven on the freeway by a song sung by a person who met his demise on the expressway?

This Nissan thread is killing me!

"Hey son, sorry I missed your entire life. Check out my pimp new ride!" plus Chapin died in a auto accident? Good God, they doubled down on stupidity in that ad.

It's the biggest commercial f-up that I can remember.

            bummer

Catholic schools are going away faster than a hoagie in KG's minivan. Cardinal Dougherty in Philly was the largest Catholic high school in the nation in the 1960s...now just a memory. Sad

                Actually Cessna Gets A Pass

Denver died in a Rutan Long EZ designed by Rutan Aircraft.

If you want to get technical.

How Can That NOT Make You All Schmaltzy?

Come on, man -- even a hard-hearted barrister like you has to enjoy a good puppy commercial, especially when said puppy is threatened by the big bad wolf!

I mean, if YOUR lab puppy was threatened by a wolf, wouldn't you want four big strong Clydesdales to come to the rescue?

Did you see Chapin at Broome County Arena right before he died? My mom did and cried all day when she heard he died. She was a big fan.

This is starting to sound like a euphemism for some sort of porn fantasy.

Probably the same show. He was delayed 90 minutes or so by the weather so he played with no intermission.

Some mega-corporation that makes a product that defines mediocrity is starting to sound desperate and scared that their customer based has discovered quality.
