    How are they doomed???

...if McMahon goes down doesn't Goodel just step in?

Hell dude, put him in the ring and ratings will rise faster than IG's little buddy at a Asian Porn convention.

This article says nothing that none of us don't know. The fact of the matter is they're the only show in town with the most resources. They'll be fine.

I thought they had it figured out about 6 months ago. Then Bryan got hurt and things have slowly gotten worse.

            a commentator with caterpillar eyebrows...

is dropping a body slam on the WWE. I don't think he could body slam a kitten.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I've been getting back into it lately. Reigns' Rumble win was awful and now they're scrambling to figure out a way to get him over. Looks like they'll use Bryan to do it at the next PPV.

If that's what they do and feel forced to take the strap off Lesnar, it'll suck to have him drop the belt to Reigns. Maybe have Rollins cash in MITB to take the belt as the ultimate heel move to end Mania?

Then they can let Bryan chase, which I think is a better role for him, anyway.

One thing the WWE does is make changes on the fly when they realize they've messed up. They did it last year to get Bryan the title and it looks like they are doing it again with the Rumble debacle. I can't tell if they are using Bryan to put Reigns over or if they are going to have Bryan win and headline Wrestlemania against Lesnar (that would be a much more popular move). I guess it makes Fastlane worth watching.

I feel like it'll be weird if they just bust Reigns back down out of a-list status like that. I mean, I'd prefer to see Bryan win, I just don't think they'll backtrack so much.

I'd love to see Bryan beat Lesnar at WM, rhe n have Rollins cash in so they can have a long feud.

Reigns really isn't that bad, he's just the victim of some bad writing. If he never got hurt, he may have reached this level with fan approval.

The long shot to really save things is to somehow talk Lesnar into sticking around. It'd be great if he could be more involved, but they should just take what they can get.

He just seems bad on the mic. I think he's alright when he gets to play the big silent badass, but aside from entering through the crowd it seems like he doesn't bring much other than being imposing. Maybe without injury he would've been fine, but they pushed him way too early.

I agree it'd be best if Lesnar stuck around, but if he bailed it'd free up Heyman to be Reigns' mouthpiece. Lesnar is pretty popular after RR, so maybe they can do something to turn Reigns heel (a super dirty win over Bryan at Fastlane?) and capitalize on his undeserved title shot to get some heat.

Unfortunately, it looks like they're dead set on keeping him face with that run-in on Raw. I didn't like that they had him land his finisher on Rollins to help Bryan...makes Bryan look too weak. A mild distraction to even the odds would've been enough. But maybe that's part of the plan...Reigns gets to spend the next couple weeks talking about how he saved Bryan's weak ass.

It was won by Roman Reigns, a wrestling legacy from the Anoa'i family who also spent some time in the NFL. So, he's getting a title shot at WrestleMania.

WWE is pushing Reigns super hard. It might've been ok if they hadn't just gotten the super popular Daniel Bryan back from injury. He was stripped of the title after he got hurt, then had a really triumphant return a few weeks ago that had everyone super hyped.

He had like two matches before the Rumble and there was hope he'd get to win Rumble and get a shot to win the title again at WrestleMania, where his performance last year was (apparently, I've only started watching again recently) huge.

Reigns got booed hard at RR and the fans were pretty pissed at the outcome. So, on the wrestling version of a rarely enforced technicality, WWE put Reigns' WM slot on the line at the next PPV. They had Bryan and their ascending heel, Seth Rollins, wrestle this week for the right to face Reigns at the next PPV. Bryan won and the winner of Bryan/Reigns gets the WM title shot.

Bryan was huge at last WM. His match with HHH was probably better than the title match.

The thing about Reigns is he's really not that bad. WAY better than Batista, who caused the last Royal Rumble clusterfuck. I think a lot of his mic issues can be chalked up to bad writing.

I think the best bet this year would have been to have Undertaker be a surprise entrant and set up a rematch with Lesnar.
