In all fairness to represent the BIG5 with players that are contributing the most to their respective teams, I have come up with a list. I'm picking 5 for each squad.
1st team: Hilliard, Price, Cummings, Ochefu, Wright
2nd team: Arcidiacono, Morgan, Pinkston, Bembry, Miles
3rd team: Ennis, Hicks, Bond, Nelson- Henry, DeCosey

Alumni can certainly do a better job, myself included, but I think the most obvious difference is location.

Having gone to Temple, I know that the campus is not a dangerous place. However, the general Philly fan who didn't attend the school will most likely assume that it's not safe to go to N Philly for a game.

Yes, Nova has been a higher ranked team more consistently of late, but if the teams were both 20-0 and ranked 1 and 2 in the country, the fact remains, more casual fans will choose to go to a game on the Main Line than what they assume is a dangerous part of the city.

Just my opinion.

I was trying to be generous to all BIG 5 teams. you werent, Not a chance nobody from UP is not on list. I like Bembry but Bembry as POY? do you smoke crack? He has not elevated his team. Arch could be 1st team but Hilliard is the senior, that is why I gave it to him

FS1 is a new network. I would rather the BE have stayed w ESPN , but FS offered a better deal. How many homes have FS1 vs the juggernaut that is ESPN?
Bembry isa good payer 17 pts a game, I have seen him a handful of times. It all depends if POY is a stand alone award despite the teams accomplishments. I tend to lean towards best player on best team
