I thoroughly enjoyed reading the site when you were the author, but your right leaning friend is no more than a pathetic, unimaginative hack. I don't agree with them on much of anything (unless 2001 is one of their favorite movies) but I want to know, maybe they think having this chaos of outrage is a good thing for democracy. I personally think it is not, but I just want to hear something from them on that. Not just links to right wing screeds, that's not happening any more. It's just boring.

I don't agree with them on much of anything (unless 2001 is one of their favorite movies) but I want to know, maybe they think having this chaos of outrage is a good thing for democracy. I personally think it is not, but I just want to hear something from them on that. Not just links to right wing screeds, that's not happening any more. It's just boring.

There is so much outrage on the left that you are totally missing. I happened to watch some Rachel Maddow last night (yes believe it or not) and she went on and on about rail cars carrying crude oil from ND crashing and creating "Apocalyptic explosions" - she used that same term at least 4 times - that threatens to destroy anyone and everyone along rail lines. Yet not once in the entire piece did she utter a single word on the obvious solution to this outrageous issue - pipeline. Truly amazing.
