Csnphilly did not even cover Hilliard's national & Big East Player of the Week. They have a long history of twisting the news to make Nova look bad or less impressive.

They did have an article on the conference awards for Cummings and Price.

Interestingly Hilliard was not highly regarded as a HS senior. Pinkston was the McDonald's All American and has had an excellent college career. Jay and his staff have done a solid job developing Hilliard. Also Hilliard seems to be a very coachable, smart player.

Sure, the latest is more obvious than any other I can think of. How can you not run a story when a Big 5 player is NATIONAL player of the week, especially when you ran a story covering two other Big 5 players who received conference PoW awards!?

Most of the examples are subtle. They tend to show pictures of Jay Wright yelling at his players or otherwise looking strange. They sometimes do the same in their pictures of the players.

There have been so many instances where I was left wondering why they chose a particular description.

There was a point last year where I just stopped reading Csnphilly's coverage of Nova. It was a waste of time. They have not been as consistently bad this year.

Discussing motivation would only involve speculation. Is someone a big fan of one of the other Big 5 schools and anti-Nova? Is someone anti-Christian or anti-Catholic? Maybe Jay refused an interview in the past.
