Three years atter Jackie Robinson's first at-bat in major league beisbol, the NBA finally integrated. Earl Lloyd, the first black man to play in an NBA game, has passed away. He was part of the historic and pioneering trio that also included former Harlem Globetrotters Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton (first African American signed in the league) and Chuck Cooper (first African American drafted). RIP Earl.
