Does anyone else here think that maybe Chip already has a trade partner in one of the top 3 draft pick teams in which they get MM and trade Chip for Foles?

Think about it, Foles would be a serviceable to good (maybe great?) QB right off the bat for any of those teams needing a QB, while MM on the other hand may NEVER transition to any other system as well as Kelly's.

I guess what I am saying is, does CK already have an Ace up his sleeve?

I think they wring another year out of Foles and if they totally suck then they get a higher pick in a better QB draft.

I think the general consensus is that Tampa takes Winston, I could see the Titans with Foles and picks.


Just depends if the Titans think a ready to start Foles would be better than a rookie Hundley? I'm trying to look at this not from Kelly's POV, but the first 5 teams up in the draft.

No because the Qb he liked the best when recruiting will be available later first round early 2nd round. Hundley is his target.

Kelly isn't that stupid. Kelly will draft Hundley the qb he preferred over Marriota when he was recruiting at Oregon.

Kelly gets Hundley late first maybe early 2nd round and gives up no picks. Foles is the starter Hundley gets to learn for a year or longer if Foles shines and restructures.

I am inclined to think that if the Eagles were positioning themselves to move up for MM then they would have acquired picks or better yet used McCoy to move up in the first.
