Was going to post something like this in RSE's thread, if you extrapolate this out with the money they saved and get Worilds this is a huge win for the birds. Now I loved shady as much as anyone but this is a great move maybe not a good locker room move though.

Too much money for a RB, don't care how good he is, and he isn't the player that got the contract anymore. I loved Shady but had a hard time watching him bounce around so much this last seaon and not hitting holes. He seemed to lose his instinct and his top end speed. That half second is the difference between breaking loose for a big run or getting tackled after 2 yds in the NFL. The money saved can get some pieces we need on the D and replace Shady's production from last year with a money left over.

Do they go after Graham now that Cole is released??

worilds is okay...but james Harrison outplayed him this year....and Harrison is 36.
