    I'm gonna have this knot in my stomach until draft day. MM may or may not be the answer but I'm not comfortable selling the farm to make it happen. If he's not "all that" at this level then it would be a monumental phuck-up which will haunt this franchise for years to come.

    I like Chip but he scares the hell out of me with his loyalty to his former Ducks.

    If nothing else it's gonna be interesting to see how this unfolds. I just hope we aren't crying in our beer afterwards.

      It probably depends on how they fill it out in FA. If they have a lot of cap room this year I'd suspect that quite a bit of the guaranteed money can be front loaded so if they miss, they can clear the space again.

          Over the next 2-3 years, most likely. But it would likely take that long to see if the strategy works including MM's development.
