Not really ... while I don't discount Harry's affinity for Ducks, Sanchez is the move whether Foles or Mariotta is the starter.
Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.

Agreed. We don't deserve a good QB for the way we've reacted to Foles.

They're also looking at Tavaris Jackson and Locker, apparently.

Same logic applies, though. Chip's drafting a QB and Foles is gone. Mariota is Plan A, Hundley probably Plan B.

There have been back vet QB's with starter potential. Kurt Warner in AZ is a good example.

It comes down to what people want to define as "good" back up. For me, there isn't many out there, but I would prefer to take a chance on reclamation guy like Locker. Kind of like taking a chance on Sanchez last year, but he turned out to be "not so good".

I think Foles is gone either way (Mariota or Hundley), but you're right, Sanchez logically fits a number of scenarios. You need three QBS regardless.

I'd rather have Locker too. More upside, and he could be rehabilitated and traded for a nice pick down the road.

But I don't have a problem with Sanchez either, especially if Locker is looking to get paid on his potential.
